One YMCA: 3 hostels, 400 people accommodated every night, £9m t/o, 250 staff: One YMCA
We are looking for someone with all round housing expertise to lead and established team and drive forward our housing strategy, ensuring high occupancy rates, full rent collection, good quality accommodation and resident informed services. Your expertise in housing will contribute to our long term success, future proofing against the legislative and funding changes.
Our charity operates three hostels and supports 400 young homeless people each night, in addition to health & wellbeing, children’s services, youthwork and community activities within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire. Building on its Christian ethos and with a turnover exceeding £9m and over 250 staff, One YMCA makes a positive impact on local people through the services it delivers and the partner organisations it works with.
You will have a passion for quality housing and support, a strong track record as a senior level housing professional, of delivering great performance, innovation and VfM, and a proven history of developing and running sustainable services. Whilst you will be the driving force behind our housing activities, as part of the Executive Team, you will have opportunities to contribute to the development of the wider service offering to help people belong, contribute and thrive in their communities.
