ABOUT THE ROLE
Calling the energetic, articulate and astute!
If successful, you will lead the national voice of housing associations and co-operatives. It’s a challenging job, but one of the best and most rewarding there could be.
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations is seeking an inspiring Chief Executive. The task is to extend our influence, speaking up for housing associations and co-operatives, and the important work they do. We work with our Members to positively influence local, Scottish and UK Government; Parliaments; the Scottish Housing Regulator; and other key stakeholders.
Our vision is of a Scotland where affordable homes are available to all who need them. We support our Members with quality services and advice, and actively promote the work of our Members through evidence-based influencing and campaigning.
We have a strong reputation and need a Chief Executive who will drive and support change across the sector. You will have senior experience and offer an appreciation of the housing challenges in Scotland. An excellent communicator, accomplished in media and public events, you’ll be a strong ambassador for SFHA’s Members. Our talented staff team are key to your success in this role, so you will need to be a strong leader and motivator with the ability to move seamlessly between running our business and being a strategic thinker for the sector.
