The boards of Radian Group Limited and A2Dominion Housing Group Limited are today (Nov 14) announcing the start of formal discussions to form a partnership.

Between them the two groups own and manage 57,000 homes in London and the South of England. Over the coming months the partnership is intending to explore options that will:

  • Deliver long-term benefits for the residents and local communities served by the two groups
  • Provide homes, services and support for people at all stages of their lives
  • Build more by working in partnership than both groups can do alone
  • Transform customer experience by developing well-regarded digital services for customers alongside a continued strong focus on local services.

There is a strong geographic fit between the two groups alongside common aspirations to improve customer experience and increase the number of new homes built in London and the South of England.

Financial viability, performance, people capability and governance of both businesses is strong providing a great platform on which to build a partnership and deliver more new homes and improvements for customers and the local communities within which both groups work.

A2Dominion has some 37,000 homes across London and southern England, and thousands more in the development pipeline.

The group provides affordable, private and social rented homes, student, NHS and temporary accommodation, as well as supported housing and homes for older people.

Employing around 1,000 staff, the group has a turnover of £372m and is also a member of the g15, a group of the largest housing providers in London.
