The National Federation of ALMOs (NFA) is the trade body which represents all arms-length management organisations (ALMOs) across the UK. The NFA represents the interests of ALMOs at the national level, lobbying and negotiating with central government on their behalf. In addition to this the NFA runs a website, organises events and regional meetings for its members and provides advice and briefings.

Managing Director

Eamon is managing director of the National Federation of ALMOs. He has over 35 years’ experience in housing management having started his career at the Greater London Council in 1977. Eamon was appointed chief executive of Homes for Islington in 2004 and retained that position until the ALMO was re-integrated into Islington Council in March 2012.

Wigan set to shut down ALMO

Wigan Council moves closer to bringing its ALMO, Wigan and Leigh Homes, back in house after public backing for the move.
