About allpay

Payment specialists allpay provides social landlords and local authoities with cost-effective and user-friendly ways for their residents to pay their rent and council tax. It currently works with 75% of the top 400 housing associations, providing the full- suite of payment options in-house.

Payment collection specialists allpay and 24housing magazine are delighted to announce the shortlisted entries for the Welfare Aware Awards - which aims to showcase the best ways and methods housing providers and local authorities are using to engage residents in welfare reform.

The award, launched in January, attracted nearly 30 entries from housing associations, ALMOs and local authorities across the UK who were asked to submit their campaign strategies and detail their results.

This month, the judging panel convened in Worcester to pore over the entries taking into account set criteria which looked at:

  • The quality of the nomination
  • Innovation to engage residents
  • Effectiveness of the message where success had been outlined
  • The breadth of the message e.g. did it just inform and aware or did it support and offer options to residents.

We’re now handing over the judging to you. In the judges’ eyes, each of the 10 shortlisted was a worthy winner, so we want to find out what the sector thinks.

The winner and the entry receiving the second highest number of votes will each be offered a day’s expert training in engaging residents via social media from our communication experts NS Design and Red Rocket Media.
