The 10-year contract will cover both the Belgrave Neighbourhood Housing Co-operative (BNHC) and the Cossington Housing Co-operative (CHC) – both in Leicester – and will include housing and asset management, community engagement and repairs and maintenance services.
The BNHC is regarded as England’s largest fully mutual housing co-operative, consisting of 380 homes, with the CHC owning 139 homes. Both are administered by resident management committees.
Pinnacle PSG Head of Housing Nimisha Patel said the contract win was a significant achievement for the Group.
“Pinnacle Group has more than 20 years’ experience in delivering high-quality housing management services across the country, with this contract our first for the housing co-operative sector,” she said.
“It’s a really significant achievement for the Group, set to open up a range of new opportunities for growth within this market and across the Midlands.”
“The co-ops were drawn to our personalised services and the fact that we would not be taking over the role of the landlord – something, they felt, was imperative to ensure their individuality wouldn’t be swallowed up,” she said.
“We can’t wait to get started – the contract will be a total outsourcing of strategic and operational landlord functions, which we haven’t done before, so it is all really exciting.”
Pinnacle PSG Area Manager Anita Pathak-Mould will lead a team of five on-site in Leicester. Five additional local staff members will be recruited in the coming weeks.
