Surrey, 31th January 2017. SDS, the leading software company for the housing sector, has been nominated for a major award for its creativity.
Two of its IT programmes are short-listed for the Most Innovative IT system in the Housing Innovation Awards, which will be announced at a ceremony in London on 8th February.
The nominations are for ProVal and Stock Profiler – viability and asset management tools respectively, and are part of a suite of IT programmes created by SDS.
These have been designed over the past 22 years to help the housing industry and are used across the board to making housing (social and private) more efficient and profitable.
“We’re honoured to be finalists for this award,” says SDS CEO, Phil Shelton (pictured above on the top of Ben Nevis in a charity Three Peak Challenge last year). “The two programmes are widely used by dozens of Housing Associations, 40 Local Authorities and many developers. They’re also a tribute to years of hard work and creativity by our technical team.”
The Housing Innovation Awards nominations follow a record deal last month with Places for People, which invested more than £180,000 in ProVal and Sequel, the viability and project monitoring IT programmes.
Last year The National Housing Federation, which SDS advises, described SDS as ‘the leading supplier of development software in the UK’.
