Alan Yates has been appointed Deputy CEO at Accord.
The midlands-based association previously saw Yates serving as its Executive Commercial Director, a role he held for 18 years.
Currently, Accord Housing has over 13,000 homes, providing services and support to more than 80,000 people.
Speaking on his appointment, Yates said: “I am really excited to take on this new role at Accord, and I am looking forward to continuing to deliver our strategic growth strategy.
“We are fully committed to further investment and development, building on the success of our New Ways of Working status with Homes England and the growth of our offsite manufacturing business, Local Homes.
He added: “We are providing great homes supporting local communities and providing excellent quality care for our customers.
“This is a very exciting time for Accord, and I am proud to have been given the opportunity to play an enhanced role in this great organisation.”
Dr Chris Handy, CEO at Accord, commented: “I am delighted to announce Alan’s promotion to Deputy Chief Executive.
“This new appointment is part of Accord’s ambitious growth plans for the future.
“Accord already has a range of highly successful strategic partnerships, and as part of our continued growth strategy we are looking to increase these over the coming months and years.”
