David Orr awarded CBE in Birthday Honours

The outgoing National Housing Federation chief executive is just one of a few housing figures named in the list.

David Orr has been awarded a CBE for services to housing.

In the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, the retiring National Housing Federation CEO is one of several housing names to feature.

Chief executive of housing association RHP, David Done, was also named on the list for his services to housing provision, receiving an OBE.

Elizabeth Cuddy, a board member at Radius Housing was also awarded an OBE, for services to the social and affordable housing sector in Northern Ireland.

Halford Hewitt, who is CEO at Ipswich Housing Action Group was awarded an MBE for services to homeless people in the local area.

In another appearance for the housing sector in Northern Ireland, David McCallum was awarded an MBE for services to housing in Northern Ireland.

Also receiving an MBE was Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) member, Teresa McNally, for services to community housing.
