“With the continued roll out of UC, we are spending significantly more staff time in managing these cases and wanted to see a more efficient use of systems to manage arrears rather than increasing staff resource,” explains George Parkinson, Head of Housing Operations at bpha.
bpha, based in Bedford with over 18,000 properties, explored various potential technology partners to help embed efficiencies within the income collection function, before selecting RentSense.

We spoke to a number of other landlords already using the system which backed up Mobysoft’s figures in terms of efficiency gains,” commented George.

Before selecting RentSense, bpha went through an exhaustive procurement exercise, which also involved a day’s consultancy with Mobysoft, termed a Discovery Day, which analysed existing systems and processes to highlight strengths and weaknesses so that landlords can focus on any areas that may need improvement.
