Our development at The Brook in Chatham has been Highly Commended at the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards, in partnership with the Joint Policy and Planning Board.
Kent Housing Group is a forum for social housing organisations in Kent and prides itself as being the ‘Voice of Housing in Kent’.
The awards celebrate the best partnerships, projects and staff who help make a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in Kent.
The Brook is a three part development providing 77 homes in total; 44 affordable rent, 11 market rent and 22 shared ownership.

Emma moved into her shared ownership home in May and said: “I’m over the moon about this home. Shared ownership is a fantastic starting point”.
The development was also shortlisted last year for an Inside Housing Development Award as Best Regeneration Project outside London.
“It’s great to see our development in Chatham being highly commended in two very prestigious and well recognised housing awards.
“By 2021 we’ll build at least new 600 homes, of which at least 85% of which will be affordable. As a charity we have a responsibility to use our resources effectively so we can reduce poverty and help those in housing need.”
