Gedling Homes has achieved national recognition for its resident involvement, after receiving TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) reaccreditation.
The three-year accreditation confirms that Gedling Homes is delivering best practice when involving tenants in the development of its services. TPAS has commended the organisation for its range of involvement opportunities and how it works with tenants to measure the impact of their work.
Gedling Homes was recognised for having a robust and clear process for residents to measure and score impact, having a wide range of formal and informal opportunities for involvement and influence and having involvement methods that are accessible, demographically balanced and open and transparent.
Community Engagement Manager, Steve Ward said: “We’re extremely pleased to be reaccredited with TPAS as it demonstrates the strong work we do in this area with tenants. Our tenants help shape the delivery of our services through their involvement, and this award helps recognise their hard work. We are very proud of our training academy and community services which have been developed over the last three years and have significantly improved tenant involvement.”
Managing Director of Gedling Homes, Lynn Clayton added: “We’re very proud that we’ve managed to retain our high standards and gain reaccreditation. I’d like to thank all the residents involved for their hard work and efforts that has gone a long way to improving services for others. Well done to everyone involved.”
