The Riverside Group scooped the top prize at the Housing Excellence Awards.
The organisation – which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year – won the gong for Social Landlord of the Year.
The judges were looking for a social landlord that performs well in tenant and resident involvement; promotes communities that people feel safe and secure in; tackles anti-social behaviour,
homelessness and social exclusion; and is committed to local employment initiatives.
The Riverside Group was also recognised for its open, accessible and responsive customer service and its commitment to partnership working.
